Seems that words are failing me…there is so much in my heart but nothing I begin to write seems adequate.
So here I am, holding your hearts, close to my own and praying for you….and I hope the words don’t matter since there is so much love for you underneath it all.
    I love you so much.

Dana and family, our deepest sympathies. We so wanted to be there physically with you to comfort you, but could not due to illness. Still know that we love for you , and you can trust with certainty that Noah is now at the beginning of eternal joy that only heaven holds.

I’m tremendously sorry to hear this news. Noah had twelve years to spend in this world. I take heart in knowing that he spent those years in the care of wonderful parents and a strong and loving family.

When I think of Our Sweet Noah, I will always remember meeting him when he was four years old and the two of us spending time laughing repeatedly over the Sesame Street Count–counting! Noah’s bright eyes and bubbling laugh making me laugh! I will also treasure the moments I spent with Noah at his home witnessing how hard he worked at his studies. Noah taught me so much about determination. I will miss him always as I’m sure, will everyone his life touched.
My wish today is that Noah’s parents, brothers and dear grandparents find peace knowing that his life–while much too short–was made full and beautiful because of their love.

I have such fond memories of my time with Noah. One of my favorites is when I was playing with him and his brothers, and Noah pulled me aside and initiated a game where I would pick him up, throw him into the foam pit, and he would squeal with laughter; which was infectious. I smile just thinking about it.
I too can remember what a hard worker Noah was, and how strong of a presence he had when you were with him, I admire him greatly.
I will truly miss Noah, as I know so many will, it would be impossible not to. Even though his time here was not long enough, he was fortunate to have a wonderful, loving family, who made his life very special.

    Love,
    Natalie

I feel very lucky to have shared so much wonderful time with Noah. From his bubbly laughter to his gentle hand-holding, Noah was a lovely companion. I especially loved singing with Noah, who made it an interactive game, having me sing the first part of line to then complete it with a whispered exclamation. Like his brothers, Noah was as open to love as he was generous with it, and for that I am very grateful to his loving parents.

  17. Ali Schmalbach

    Dana, Cort and Family,
Words cannot express how deeply saddened I was to hear of Noah’s passing. He always held such a special place in my heart as did your entire family. He was such a joy to work with and always seemed to put a smile on my face or make me laugh. Even though he was the student, he taught me (and I am sure so many others) about the important things in life. My love, thoughts and prayers are always with you! With that being said I leave you with this quote:

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal.

    Xoxo,
    Ali

Although we have neither words nor wisdom to comfort you we hope you know that we ache for you. We will pray very, very hard that in time your present darkness is replaced by the very lightness of Noah’s heart and the Love that forever holds him now.

Wishing we could do the same for you right now.

Dear Cort, Dana, Ethan, and Beck
I am beyond saddened to hear of Noah’s passing, and my heart and prayers go out to you through this time of great loss. I had the fortune of working with Noah and Beck when they were merely 6 years old. Noah had such an amazing spirit that I know will continue to live on in all of us who have been so fortunate to have known him. I’ll never forget the joy on his face when he’d dance on his bed, or the pure determination in his eyes when he was concentrating on his work. We were all so blessed to have known him, Sweet Noah.
