Donald F. McFall

(May 14, 1921 to Jan 11, 2011)

It has been said that luck never gives, it only lends, but anyone who knew Donald might argue otherwise. To sit across a card table from him it seemed his luck knew no bounds. Given, he only played cards because he enjoyed it so. Any kind would do, but his favorite was the Saturday morning poker game with his friends at the AC Club in Beverly. Good fortune again smiled on Donald while he was in the service. Although he could not swim, he proudly served the U.S. Navy during WWII. However, his luckiest moment came when he met his wife, Sophie. From the time the met, through their 57 year marriage, the two remained inseparable. rn Donald is survived by his wife Sophie (Milewski) of Edgewater Park, as well as his many nieces and nephews.rn His 89 wonderful years (May 14, 1921-January 11, 2011) were celebrated privately, and he was interred in the Monument Cemetery, Beverly. Arrangements by the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. rn
