Carol Cisek

(Dec 20, 1963 to Jan 26, 2013)

rn When it came to Carol, she, her husband and their children were always four volumes of one book. It made sense considering a day well spent meant a day with her family. By spending time with her daughter she found herself addicted to Harry Potter and even Twilight (although she never considered herself Team Jacob or Edward). With her son she caught every campy movie on the SyFy Network; even if the effects were low-budget the time together was priceless. When it came to date night the kids were always invited; it just wouldn’t be the same without the whole family. But her love and dedication didn’t stop with family; she was the perfect in-law, cook and friend. Even when her health began to fail her, she still had the strength of character to leave lasting impressions on her doctors and nurses. rn As a young woman Carol had a brief conversation with her roommate’s softball coach, Martin. So short was the conversation that he jokingly commented that they’d eventually be wed at 5 PM on a Saturday. He was wrong; they took their vows at 4. Together their lives were blessed by their children: Michael and Caitlin. Carol is also the sister of Edward and Richard Murdock and the sister-in-law of Lori Craft (Don) and Frank Cisek, Jr. (Cindy).rn Come celebrate 49 family-centered years (Dec. 20, 1963-Jan. 26, 2013) Friday from 8-10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 at Resurrection Parish (St. Casimir Site), Riverside. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to The Cancer Treatment Centers of America 1331 East Wyoming Ave., Phila., PA 19124.rn

Dear Marty: Our deepest sympathy to you, Mike and Caitlin in the loss of Carol. She was truly an except-ional wife, mother and friend. I always enjoyed being in her company and always had fun on our Wildwood trips. She will be missed.

Dear Marty. While our paths diverged since high school, I’ll always remember the good times we had at Holy Cross. I am grateful for the technology of Facebook that hooked me up with the old gang. Deepest sympathies to you and your whole family. Zig

I have too many fond memories…. funny memories… sad memories to mention…. the royal wedding… she made me watch…. down our house at sc, and diana was killed…. all nite long …. she made me sit w/ her and watch it!!! making peirogies every christmas together… and stealing her homemade tassies, even though she would always make me my own… But most of all saddly enough were the endless days we spent together when my husband Don was extremely ill in a trauma unit for 4 months…. my girl never left my side…. Carol… You are not only Don’s hero… but mine too!!… I LOVE YOU… my BFF
