Antoinette Fendo

(Jan 1, 1916 to Jun 9, 2009)

For Antoinette 93 was merely a number: she was sharp as a tack, had a great sense of humor, a happy-go-lucky attitude and loved to keep abreast of current events. She was a pious lady who attended daily Mass and said the rosary for most of her life. Her neighbors knew she had pride in her home: it was always spotless and boasted a yard full of flowers and a vivacious garden. The South Philly social network fixed her up with a boy, the late Frank. They were married while he was serving in WWII. Her prayers were answered as he returned home unscathed. The two would settle in Delran.rnShe is survived by her brothers Victor and Danny and many nieces and nephews.rnMass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, Riverside. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements by Sweeney Funeral Home.rn
